Our traditional Christmas concert followed by a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie in the iconic cloisters of Gloucester Cathedral.

An intensive and rewarding day with masterclasses from three outstanding professionals followed by rehearsing and performing Stainer's classic Crucifixion in the beautiful chapel of Cheltenham College.

By the light of a star
Christmas at Gloucester Cathedral

As well as joining in with some classic Christmas carols, our audience was treated to a very special programme of festive favourites by Mendelssohn, Rheinberger, Bach and others as well as a stunning new piece written for the occasion by our President Andrew Millington.

Upton Bishop Parish Church
A programme of works by the eminent composer and cathedral organist John Sanders, a former Musical Director of the Saint Cecilia Singers and a long-term resident of beautiful Upton Bishop.

The carefully curated programme included pieces by the choir's current Director Jonathan Hope and three of our singers: William Armiger, Charlotte Baskerville and Elvin Young

2020/2021 Season

The 2020/2021 season was severely affected by the global COVID-19 pandemic.
However, we were lucky enough to perform a livestreamed concert at Christmas in Gloucester Cathedral.
