Weddings ​and civil partnerships

We are passionate about weddings! Run by musicians, we understand how important music is to your day.
​We can be as flexible as you need, to suit your style and your budget: you can hire the full choir, a quartet, a soloist or anything in between. We can even recommend and arrange an organist for you.
​We are happy to help you with your music choices if you're unsure about what you want, and we are quite often asked to help couples identify a piece that they have heard, but don’t know what it is!

Funerals and memorial services

Arranging a funeral can be a difficult time and often an unexpected expense.  We have a wealth of experience in providing music for sacred and secular funerals and can offer advice and information to help you choose something that your loved one would have wanted.
Our advice will always take into account your budget and comes with no obligation and no pressure.

Invitations and commissions

The Saint Cecilia Singers receive many invitations to perform at high profile musical events and festivals, most recently giving the world premier of War Passion by Philip Lancaster which was commissioned for the 2016 Gloucester Three Choirs Festival. We are also frequently invited to sing services in other cathedrals in the UK and abroad.
