Christmas with the Saint Cecilia Singers at Gloucester Cathedral
18th December 7pm
For many people our annual Christmas concert marks the start of their festive celebrations. We hope that this year will be no exception!
As well as joining in with some classic Christmas carols, our audience will be treated to a very special programme of festive favourites by Mendelssohn, Rheinberger, Bach and others as well as a stunning new piece written for the occasion by our President Andrew Millington.
Afterwards, join us in the iconic and magical cloisters of Gloucester Cathedral for a glass of warm Gluhwein and some traditional German Stollen.
The choir is working hard to reduce our carbon footprint and minimise waste, so tickets are all online (or on the door) and programmes are available to download for free (see below). If you'd prefer a printed copy, you can purchase one for £2 when you order your ticket.

When the sun with great flashes of grandeur
breaks over the edge of the earth,
Cecilia nine trumpets blazing at her side glides over the sea and land
rousing great organs and voices to join in song.
