Holst's The Planets under Mars

What an incredible experience it was to join Cheltenham Symphony Orchestra to perform Holst's The Planets under Luke Jerram's Mars artwork in Gloucester Cathedral (Saturday 12 October 2024).  Our sopranos and altos sang off-stage for the mysterious Neptune movement, their voices fading into the distance as they moved away along the cloisters for the closing bars. "Magical" was the audience verdict.
All proceeds from the concert supported the Cathedral's In Tune Music and Organ Campaign.
